I will be discussing my top three favorite places I love to get comfortable and, in my zone, to get lost within the pages of my books.
#1 The bookstore
Of course, one of my top favorite places to read will have to be in one of my favorite places outside of my home (I am one of the most introverted extroverted people you’ll ever meet, let me know if that makes sense. The ones that get it, gets it and the ones that don’t…. well, you know ☺.) I love to enter a bookstore that has a great and relaxing vibe. Something that Books and Black Coffee will offer all of you. I go to the bookstore to get that fulfilling experience that it always gives me. I go in, I browse all of the shelves, as if I don’t have a shelf full of books that are filled with titles I have yet to read -ha-ha, but back to the experience…. I go into the bookstore and most bookstore locations have a coffee shop, so I grab my very complicated coffee order and find me a quiet spot in the corner and dive in. Some people think bookstores are loud if they’re busy, but personally, I can’t hear anything but the pages turning when I’m in there. Such a nostalgic feeling.
#2 The Sofa
Coming in as a runner up, my sofa in my living room. Technically it’s a sectional, but we aren’t getting into the technicalities right now. I just love to chill on my sofa in the living room, I LOVE my sofa. I have a favorite spot right in the corner that I’m always sitting at with one of my throw blankets. When I’m home I love to make me a cup of tea, grab the book that I’m reading (right now its WILL, Will Smith’s memoir. Which by the way is so good! You should swing over to the Products section and check it out, you will not be disappointed). I get all cozy and snuggle up in my corner on my sofa and get lost in the chapters, before you know it hours have gone by.
#3 In Bed
I don’t really recommend reading in bed unless you’re reading right before you’re about to get some shut eye, which again can be both a good and bad thing. I went through a phase where I decided to read either for 30 minutes before bed or 30 minutes in the morning before I got ready for work. I found that reading before work helped me have a very productive workday. I have a platform bed, so I am able to have my book placed right on the side and it worked for me, up until I used to stay up way past my bedtime but luckily, I’m a morning person, so it worked ☺. Plus, I mean the bed is everyone’s favorite place to be? Right? Signed one of the sleepiest people you’ll ever meet.
